Vampire Academy

Vampire Academy is a good movie with enough suspense, action, and twists in the story. If you've read the novel, you will notice some differences. I have appreciated both the book and the movie. They’re both thrilling and exciting! You can compare them and marvel at how modern stories can achieve such a twist! Wicked! I'm just happy that books and movies still allow the triumph of good over evil. You will discover that even Moroi Vampires exercise morality. The Strigoi Vamps are those who don't. They have given up fighting to be good. The Dhampirs are Moroi Guardians. Interesting! They're trained to protect their Moroi Royals. Their physical, emotional and academic training entail a lot of sacrifices.

I remembered the twist in Wolverine’s Story. Somehow, I was reminded of that similarity. That is, if you watched the latest Wolverine Movie. You'd never know exactly who the real villain was until the end of the story. And that truly added to the excitement and suspense while you’re watching it. The movie was faster paced than the book. There was more action. The motorcycle that was put on fire to pave way to their escape was definitely not in the book. There were no housemates in the movie. No one named Jeremy to whom Lissa Dragomir used compulsion, more of a hypnotic spell. The movie did not show any trees 30 meters away from the house where Rose Hathaway saw somebody hiding. Very strikingly, the Strigoi attack just near the gates of St. Vladimir’s Academy was an action packed addition to the movie version. I won’t share so much for now so that when you get the chance to watch it, you’ll appreciate the surprises every step of the way!
